The King County Corrections Guild is planning a motorcycle ride as a memorial for Brian Fisher, a corrections sergeant who died in May.

Corrections officers will buy tickets for the ride, scheduled to start this weekend in Tukwila and conclude in Ocean Shores. The money raised from the ride will go to the Brian Fisher Memorial Fund, which will benefit his family.

"Brian's passing was a major blow," said Sgt. Doug Justus, president of the King County Corrections Officers Guild. "I'm glad we can do something to help Brian's family as they deal with this loss."

Donations also can be made to the memorial fund at Bank of America branches
